cheers guys!

dave, got the chrome done at ferntree gully platers. got onto it through my uncle who had his buick chrome done there. the guy does a good job :D
and i'll be taking it everywhere to show it off! haha i'd bring it this week if it was legal to drive with no panels while sitting on a garden chair! :lol:

i like the silver paint in the engine bay, not as expensive as chrome but still looks good :)

haha the chrome pretty much blew the budget so the $15 can of silver from bursons was the next best thing :P

all up, a very exciting day! got more chrome back yesterday (door handles, bonnet bird, headlight rims etc.) and painted a few other bits and pieces ready to go back on :)

haven't updated in awhile, the parents have been off gallivanting around the south pacific so not much has been done. thought i'd post some progress from the weekend though :)

got a new drivers door off a friend, realised it was a ute one once we got it but dad's going to be doing a bit of modifying :wink:

and all the hinges are back on so dad put the door on to adjust it and didn't even need to in the end :)

I'm sure the old bog i dug out of mine is worse. Did you know rust doesn't actually need to be repaired? you can just bog it up...or mix glue and sand and use that. :lol:

i come bearing updates :P
haven't posted anything in awhile but the shed is still getting a workout.
all the body work/filling is finished now :D :D :D and we're onto the second coat of hi-fill on all the panels so we're slowly getting there! hoepfully we'll be on to colour the weekend after next so it's all getting very exciting now :D

got my carpet this week too. my puppy has adopted it as his new sleeping mat though so it wont be long before i have shag pile :lol:

so we are slowly but surely getting there :D still on track to be on the road by christmas, very exciting! :mrgreen:
