Just a heads up - I had a look at the TinyPic app trying to find a solution for you and found it’s developed by Photobucket ..........

I’m sure you’ll make the right decision Neil. Things could be worse. Sold a full dash from the van to a bloke who had previously fitted a commodore dash. Wanted to change back to original!

Got into the shed Saturday and fitted the battery box under the tray behind the cabin partition, had some leads made up by an electrical contractor I use for our marine work, installed an isolation switch and connected the cables from starter motor to isolation switch.

Started putting in my poor mans Dynamat, I bought this stuff on evilbay a couple of years ago to do my FC and had enough left over for the ute, finished the roof and started on behind the seat.

Still waiting for my wiring harness from Vintage Wiring so just trying to keep moving along with some of the jobs, going to fit steering column soon also.
Also need a good interior light if anybody has one, don't need the cover just the chrome surround/body with the switch.

Neil

I just gave my spare interior light to a friend. Swap meet coming up so I’ll keep a lookout.

G'day Neil,

From memory, I've got two - one old one with rust barnacles, and a good clean one. I'll check this weekend for you, and if I still have the good one I'll throw it into the post (PM me an address please to remind me).

Cheers,
Harv

Seeing I have a one piece front bumper I decided to do a one piece rear.

Good stuff Neil. Looks like a couple of bolt holes at the welds - you putting normal over riders on?

Cheers,

John

Looks good mate - maybe tuck it in a bit closer at corners?

Hey John the bolts are just there while I mounted the brackets underneath, they have all been welded up now so no over-riders and yeh Wally the drivers side is nice and close I have to do a bit more adjustment on the pasenger side as you can see to get it a little closer.

Finished welding up all the holes on the bumper and capture nuts etc to be able to mount it, put a bit of filler over the welds and some primer ready for some colour.

Installed the VT steering column and trial fitted the steering wheel.

Plugged in the sphagetti wiring for the column, wipers, high beam & high beam flash, blinkers and ignition. I think I must be a masochist I don't really know why I do this to myself
