well back from another lengthy overseas holiday and now its full steam ahead on the FB... the old boy gather some bits to start on the exhaust and we got stuck into it yesterday
i'll let the pictures speak for themselves... he's been a bit handy the old bloke i have to give him credit for the leg work here
drivers side started as well
just tacked up at the moment but its a good start

Well after picking around with the drivers side, and the steering shaft we finally have 2 log headers... off to a contact to have them fully tigg'd up properly...
just need to put a bit of a scallop in the side support structure but nothing to hard...

looking nice, what size main pipe did you use? I am looking to do the same arrangement but with the pipe stubs angled towards the back of the car (between the heads and main pipe)

i did the scollop thing on the chopped ute so we could get decent clearence
just be sure to brace it with a 5mm minimum thickness material
my engineer did not have a problem with me doing it this way

hey Chopped just curious why 5mm?
my engineer has said hes happy with me replacing it with the same thickness as a minimum based on a simple \__/ scallop shape?

nothing to fancy... but got my headers back, just need to be cleaned up and will send them off to be coated at some point... plan is to start work on the sump this weekend, pretty much the last major hurdle before a few holes to wled up and then it can start getting all the bits together for the body shop.
