OK, I've started again, but it's slow going. :( :(

I did a bit too much guide coat, and after a few months it seems to be taking forever to sand it back off. Didn't even get all the body done today.

Did find another little bit of rust, so angle grinder and welder back out again.

Got the dash ready and sanded the roof back for the silver to go on. :D :D
Probably another two weeks away, at least.

Anyhow it has started to move again after being stalled for a number of months. Still going to be tight for June.......
Had to put the trim back on the dash so I could see where the body and dashboard colours went. Glad I did because I remembers wrong.

Also polished up one of my mags, with those little soapy wonders. Came up pretty good.

Luke, your colour is darker than mine, but a similar look.

Spent a few more hours today blocking back the guide coat and getting the tricky frame areas ready. :?
Got most of one side done. It's a slow process.

Need to finish off the body and get the doors ready.
Some more cutting and welding.
:( :( :(

Got a couple of hours again this afternoon. :)

Front, Passenger side and rear is done.
Just the driver side to finish, then onto the doors and guards. :? :?
Will need to get the roof sanded back a bit more, it's not quite right.

Car will soon be looking the same as it was 4 months ago, But this time it will be ready to paint. :D :D

Started blocking back with 800 paper, too hard, went to 600, still too hard then using 400 seems to get it off but I'm still working very hard at scrubbing the panels. :( :(

It's not that the panels aren't even, it's just getting rid of the guide coat that is a little to heavy and a little too old/hard. :( :(

From now on I'll be blocking back within 48 hours of guide coating.

Just one small area to redo on the passenger side. Little black area in the second picture.

Another new item has arrived. :D :D
New roof lining is ready to install. Looks very nice, and big ????

I'm getting lots of parts ready, just no free time, and too much rain when I am available. :( :( :(

Hi everybody, it has been a while since I was active on the forum.
Life has been doing some major ups and downs, but 2011 should be a good one.

Have actually done all the sanding back on the frame, but nothing else.
Did the tendons on my right wrist back around the time I finished the undercoating and it really hasn't improved.
It was the spray gun use that hurt the most, so I wasn't that keen to start again.

Anyhow, New year means some new goals anbd finishing "Betsy" the wagon, is on the list.
Just need the rain to stop so I can get started.

It's been over 2 years...............
