I had a rush of blood to the head on the way home from helping set up for AHD and made a short detour to shamelessly emulate Stephen. Image

Great pic Clay- like a poster. You seem to have a different set of wheels every time I look.

Hey thanks fellas. Only two sets of wheels Brett. Tyres rub a bit so put the others on for inspection.

Finally managed to do a consumption test on the ute after changing over to the X2 induction and exhaust. Based on the run from my place at Willunga, through the city to see Gary Carr, up to Nuriootpa and home through the hills, got 24 mpg. Not bad.

Clay,

24's about right for the conditions. My X2 used to get 25 on the highway, which rose to 29 when I took the sunvisor off.

Fun should have no boundaries Clay !!!

I hate to think what I'm about to embark on with the 327 but its got a long diff so we shall see.

So that's about 9.8 litres per 100 K/M, that's pretty good. My old Territory wont get that unless its a long trip and I drive like a Granny !!!!

Once I pedalled a 350 realllly softly up to Brisbane. I got from home to Amberley on one tank: 24 mpg.

The exhaust is still getting hit by the leaf spring on the slightest of bumps. It simply can’t cross above the spring as Martin has done it. I will get them to put it back straight then duck out to the side just in front of the shackle underneath.

Spoke to Roger Hancock on Friday and apparently my column conversion is about three weeks away. I should probably get busy overhauling M15 three speeds.
