Nothing to fancy to add... Got a new shiny wheel just a SAAS classic but feels pretty good

And got my fuel pipe sorted with a non return flap hammered into it since the grade isn't anything too fancy

Image

Which means apart from finishes the boots actually finished

Image

Next is to mount the thermos and work out the bonnet / bonnet catch mods shouldn't be too much effort

Cheers

got a little bit of work done on the weekend...

had my under dash panel laser cut out of ally to suit a stereo, gauges, air vents, switches etc.. you get the idea, got it all bent up and had it briefly bolted in.

Image

Image

with everything going on under the dash the air vent pretty much becomes useless, so tacked it shut and it becomes the home for the fuse panel

Image

and took some measurements to start work on the custom sump for the 253

Image

next up is working on modifying the bonnet catch to suit all the stuff up the front. but think i have a solution and then work on the headers since a set of stocky cast ones just don't work on the drivers side... log headers it is

Cheers

Hi Nomad Just wondering if you have sussed out the handbrake set up on the Volvo rear end. regards Pete

I'm using an aftermarket lokar trans mount hand brake... But also there's only a HR diff under here the volvo to be thrown back in later

Try autocables.com.au (auto shades and cables) they make to suit I believe, just tell them what's at either end

Under dash panel looks good, should tie in with your theme nicely. Can't wait to see those sump mods and headers!!

Nothing a welder and grinder can't fix!

Hot up here, but getting settled in, but def missing having the wagon to tinker on. might have to take up fishing or something crazy like that haha
