My zorst. There's 20mm clearance. It is handy to be able to drop the gate as these old girls are work horses. Who am I kidding?ImageImage

thanks Clay ... I'll cut my tailpipe back so I can lower the tailgate - yep, my EK will be used - my other cars are copping it a bit since I sold my last ute. Patrick

there's a couple of bits I'll get back to and maybe some more, if it bothers me, when the light hits it in different ways - but it's early bourbon today

yeah, was doing the prep work as soon as it got light ... good temp (20 degrees) and slight breeze to take the overspray over the fence - perfect :)

reading Clay's thread, when he was putting on his mudguard braces, made me realise I didn't buy a complete car after all :)

had to buy a couple of these

When I was hooning around in my car in the younger days I had the guards on and off several times for various things, I never knew those parts existed !
I didn't have the braces from the bumper bolt to the bumper iron either.

My car may have been a factory light weight option ??? ha ha.

One of our members had a pair of fibreglass guards for sale. I thought briefly about it but the solidness of these cars is one of the main appeals for me, so no.

finished assembling and hanging the good doors - pinched some bits off the original doors - cut a hole for a lock on the driver's door
