Tweaked the guard a bit to improve fit, but it seems like the bumper needs a bit of a twist at the outer end. Not sure I can be bothered. I recall it was like this before. May tweak the guard more yet.
There were no strut braces fitted to the outer bumper ends when we got the car from Trev and I decided to leave it that way. Bit of weight saving I figure, and obviously not needed. Minor prang might prove otherwise of course, but the alignment issue is not affected.

Most items ticked off. Trans pan shouldn’t leak. Good old aviation gasket former, plenty of it, snd x cork gasket. There were a few gummy bits in the filter.

Just residue probably glue from the rocker cover. Small amount of silver specs 0.1-0.2 mm as usual.
Managed to overfill the sump half a litre. I could suck some out through the dipstick. Might save a mess later.
Fiddled with the bumper outer ends and, yeah it will have to do.

Just chassis grease to go.

Don’t anyone get in my way

Horn is loud!
I didn’t like the sound of the modern one that was in there. Standard low note horn off the old EK215 adds gravity.

Front bar looks good Clay. See you have gone for the streamline front and deleted the over riders

Thanks Stephen, yeah mate. Was just looking at your intermittent wiper solution, but not sure if it will work with the circuit board I have, which is same as Blacky used. You didn’t use a relay? I have said if many a time: I am an electrical idiot.

I am pretty sure the thread I did on them had a diagram in it Clay, if you get stuck just bring all the bits to Stanthorpe and we will fit it up there

No didn’t use a relay Clay. Page 34 of Blackys Ute has his wiring diagram, where he used a relay.

I’ve got both your diagrams in front of me already, thanks fellas. I like Stephen’s one switch solution but will it work with my board, which is the same as blacky used?

Can you remind me what wiper motor you have and how many positions & terminals the switch has?

Standard EK Stephen. I have one and two position switches.

Thanks Clay. This is how I did mine and works ok.
Get your ohm meter to check the three position / two terminal switch functions as shown below.

If that is all good then it can be wired as per below. I understand the timer has an off switch incorporated as part of the adjustment knob. If so the unit would need to be left on and say set for 3 seconds.
When your testing this before re-installation of the switch don’t forget to earth the switch otherwise it won’t work. Hope this helps.

All done. Int wipers work a treat. Could be faster on the fastest setting, but I put that down to the slow base speed. Thanks to Stephen for supplying a wiring plan I could actually get my head around. I mean, I thought I understood relays but sent me into a spiral. Mounted the switch in the deleted choke hole, which means I finally got round to deleting the choke cable since installing the 390 with elec choke.
Maybe next year for the cruise control, but then will only have to drive over to,,,,…..!! Whoops, nearly said it.
