Sounds like the plans all coming together mate!

When I'll get home I'll have a look around the shed, I think I might have a few 308 parts spare from my hq build. Might be of some use to you.

i know you can have holden blocks re-drilled to turbo pattern.

unfortunately boys the V6 T700 isn't actually a turbo patterned box or trimatic... hence the different adapter kit, and i already have the V6 box and its shift kitted, and more than enough to handle the stockish 253

plus I'm not paying that for the kit.

cheers woody... appreciated.

cheers

Got a start on the weekend.

Engine bay gutted...

Image

Some fresh engine mounts made out of some RHS with cursh tubes fitted.

Image

Hacked the 6 cylinder mounts off which we already moved once haha and got the area all cleaned up, i found the mounts to be too 'skinny' width wise for the V8 mounts so though making a fresh which fit alot better was worth it, just hope one isnt too short or i'll be doing it again... the joys of scrap metal.

Image

and one of the 2 dummy blocks i scored (but have to return) sitting waiting quietly in the corner.

Image

and got myself a new 3 row HQ radiator (standard type none of the fancy ally ones for me haha)

Cheers

Imagine that , having to modify CRS gear to get it to fit
I started with nothing and still have most of it left.

gday mate , love your build , just wondering about the Volvo rear end , I am just starting on mine , mainly to get disc brakes on the rear , I have found a 245 wagon diff . Do you know if autocables supply a handbrake cable , or is there another way?
