Looks good stripped down and looks like you scored with the floors being the worst of it! Shouldn't take to much time prep wise for paint! 8) 8) 8)

Hi Jimmy, there is some rust. the worst was obviously the front floor pans, theres some rust at the corners of the rear window, and at the bottom right corner where the boot rubber seal goes.

hey joe long time no see i think the last time i seen u at double duece we were talking about this "freshen up" its looking gr8 it would of killed me to rub back such a nice car. hope to see u and the beast soon.

Here is a pic of my car on the rotisserie, all metal fab work completed, including hidden seat belt mounts, replacement of dodgy repair to battery case area and the odd rust repair. Special thanks to Bill for lending me the rotisserie and doing most of the setting up.

Spent 2 days scrubbing and cleaning 49 years of dirt and crap, what a dirty and crappy job

Underside all painted in KBS satin black, really good shit for rust proofing

Working on suspension, front end all cleaned and painted in KBS chassis full gloss rust paint

Next, working on differential and other underside parts.....

Nice work bebop........ that KBS gear looks the goods, is it easy to apply and where do you get it??

Hi Gaz, KBS is available by contacting them on 1800 80 90 36 , their website is: www.kbs-coatings.com.au
We used a normal spray gun to apply and it can be thinned using normal thinners.

Well it's been a while since last post, typical slack panel beaters concentrating on quick easy jobs.
Here are some pix of the front end and differential completed will be putting back in the car tomorrow.

Also had the outer holes for the seat belt mounts filled and thick steel plate's welded on the inside of the pillar to give a clean look

Here is the EK in high fill ready for sanding back, next step will see some colour. Cant FN wait
