No way you could drive it with such deep offset rims on the front with such low suspension!

matches that does look good with the glitter roof, i'll keep it in mind. as for the blower...drool...
i still like the idea of a bit of a rake though.
im trying to figure out what wheel/tire combo will fit considering i'll probably run a HR disc front and standard rear (or maybe with a torana diff)
thinking 13's front, 14's rear as wide as possible with stock wheel arches and around ?/70 profile rubber

those mickey thompsons look great but surely they'd be a bit pricey? was thinking of just something thats 205/60R13 on the front and 235/60R14 on the rear.

also, skinny crossplys on the front...interesting. for that nostalgic look i suppose?

Rocket Industries have the M/T tyres, admittedly, they are not the cheapest
Crossplys on the front are definatly not there for their handeling
you need to drive accordingly
I used these tyres just for the look they have.

they do give the car a sorta cheesecutter look. but with crossply's i'd be too worried about understeer lol. but skinny tires on the front would probably look pretty darn good.
i keep changing my mind. black, black with white roof, all white, red and white, big tires, rake, no rake.
should just re%$##& it  that way the tags tell me what to do

Hey Jimmy, I have had quite a few wheel/tyre combo's over the years, What I found was, Chop and change on a regular basis for different looks. I've had stock & widened steelies, Tasmans, 13", 14", Dragways, Jelly beans, 12 slotters. After a while you will find the combo that suits you. Make sure you have a set of standard rims with radials for everyday driving and what ever takes your fancy as show or shine wheels.
Cheapest and best is what I have ended up with.
HT Stock Steelies-$100
185/70/14 radials-$210
Johns Rod n Custom Flappers-$130
1952 Caddy caps-$ ?
Beautiful looking wheels and cap combo that i had sitting there all the time while I was buying new tyres every month for that look!!!!

Jimmy you will be hard pressed to get a 13 to fit for a HR disc front end. You will need a 14 most likely.

Plenty of wheel combos out there.

FE thru HT Holden are the same stud pattern. Just different offsets.

My opinion (sorry im baised) change your stud patterns to &*#@ or HQ/chev. Get multi fit wheels, easy to make your car appear sit "low" if your running 15+ inch rims. Profile plays a big role also.
