Thanks Stewart.
I've been mulling over what to do with the plates. I wouldn't mind personalised ones.
I had thought of putting these on hold, but they aren't in the best condition, so I'd presume the RTA will destroy them.

Nice score Cal
I think original plates in any condition, look better than new plates on old cars.
Cheers

Hey Wayne
Think I'll keep the plates.
We're still deciding where to put the garage. At the moment the EK has pride of place in the carport, which is pretty shielded.
Both other cars have been thrown out into the street

If I ever get rid of them they're yours, Ratbox. B)
Though I think I'll leave them on.adds a bit of character.
I was gonna get EK-61-PK ..........but the a- holes at the RTA want 90 bucks a year
Stuff that
I can't beleive what full insurance cost on this thing.....embaressingly cheap

Hope you gave them the right "purchase" price

, because what you paid is certainly not going to cover replacement...

Of course I did..........I'm too honest a guy to do otherwise

Don't ever think the insurance companies will be "honest" if you have to claim.
Their all smiles and kisses when they want your money but will turn into anusholes instantly if you need to claim.

We copped that with the Rav4. We insured it with one of these budget insurance companies popping up everywhere.
When the wife decided to reverse into a pole

, getting a claim sorted was like getting blood out of a stone

you need some brake fluid

and any ordered plates cost money per year now

THIEVES, leave those plates where they are, original plates are a nice touch especially on a stocker

Yeah, need to top it up. I presume just any brake fluid?
The ex owner reckons he adjusted them recently, plus changed the wheel cylinders..........he's probably right about the adjustment bit. They grab as soon as you touch the pedal.
Though judging by the small leaks I doubt the wheel cylinder bit
