i think looking at the last pic of the ek ute it just needs the roof a touch higher and the doors extended

I had a go at Photoshopping the ute and came up with this...
extended the doors, put the flip windows back in, lowered it and added spats & scallops.

Just had a squizz at the ute on EvilBay & if you look close at the rear shot there is also a wagon there too!!!! Could make an interesting Kustom with the two put together??? Things that make you go HMMMMMMM????

overall i think it would be easier to by an american car that looks very similar to what u guys are trying to acheive but ive had a few home brews so what would i know

In a very early issue of Custom Rodder there was a four or five pages of early Australian built customs
One of the photos was of an FB EK sedan that had been converted into a coupe by adding a ute roof and then modifying it
At the moment I can not find this issue and have asked someone who may have it to scan the picture.
It may be a day or so before it arrives.
