Hi guys,
well the ute has "sort of" progressed............ I have machined some rollers/dies for the bead roller and had a crack at rolling a test trim piece out of mild steel...... I machined a roller to do the flange on the trim, then a roller to finish the flange roll.... then machined adapters to fit a soft compound skate board wheel to the lower shaft to press the centre of the trim.... this is the first attempt so I have a fair bit of fine tuning, but happy with the results so far..... keep in mind that these are not meant to "replicate" original trims... these are custom trims....

first roller (shiny sucker on the top shaft) machined for doing flange

Second roller (bottom shaft) for first and second stage of rolling trim

Shateboard wheel and machined adapters to fit it to bottom shaft of bead roller.
