I had thought about Gaypricot for about 1 second only but you have the monopoly on that. Originally Banff blue but too many Utes and vans in that colour. Not 100% sure yet. Sorry for hijacking your thread Neil.

A couple of photos of the donor inner and outer sills I picked up from EKMart thanks to Blacky will have them blasted and then separate the inner and outer before fitting so I can blast inside as well.
Thanks Blacky

Hey Paul;
I wish that was my workshop at home, that's my company workshop in Henderson great to have the room there to be able to do lots of stuff I don't have the room to do at home.
I had my FC Sedan in there for a couple of months while I finished it just lucky my MD didn't come over from Sydney to visit.

Finally got around to doing a bit on the ute after doing repairs to my brother in laws old VN (gearbox change and some other stuff)
The passenger side K leg was rotted out in the bottom and I was lucky enough to pick up a Rares leg on Epay pretty cheap a while ago.
Separated the top from the bottom and then did the same on the sub chassis and welded together.
Hopefully I will be able to get some more time and finish (start) the outer sills

You know after really struggling to put Harv's repaired subframe back on I will probably in future attach the subframe to the body. Fit the repair section, bolt them in and then weld.
I didn't weld Harv's subframe back together but I had to play around heaps to get the bolts in.
I fitted the outside bolts then put a sling around the diff and the front of the subframe and a block and tackle in between to line up the inner ones. It was a nightmare.
