Yes did a metal shaping course at a place in Springfield south east qld. I made the repair section for the spare wheel well after the course with what I had been shown using their gear.
If you do a course with them you can go back and hire their gear on the weekends. They have a very modern facility with everything you would need. On the course guys were making 32 &*#@ rear 1/4 panels using the instructors wooden buck and all the gear at the centre. Well worth doing if you are in seq.

Good stuff! It is always very satisfying to be able to make things from materials and then use them on your project.

Hr is slowly getting there. Front 3/4 and roof painted. Interior all back in minus door trims. Finish paint, brightwork on then back onto my "keepers"

Yep not much left of the old girl, was pretty floppy on the trailer going home. Luckily it stayed together. I bought the subframe off it but the proviso was i took the whole car with it. The driveline is still complete and the subframe is way better than my crumpled one so I obliged.

Nice job, for something like that I'm even tempted to take a leap into modern motoring.......... Synchro box, heater, oil filter, alternator, red donk with power, sheer luxury

Loving this build, keep it coming. A lot of relatable content in here!
Also I'm wondering where you've advertised the HR. Could you post a link?
cheers, Joe

Thanks Joe, the EK has and will continue to be a slow build. I've just been doing things as I can afford the time and money to do the job properly. Getting these 2 resources aligned as we all know is a massive juggling act but it will be worth it in the end. I believe I am doing the Ek to a higher standard than the HR and I am really proud and happy with how the HR panned out in the end.
Anyway link to HR add is here:

Time to sit back and wait for the right buyer and then back on the Ek (and a little something I have under wraps on the side haha).
