well it was a big day for me today with the 32
i took it to tac for its 2nd inspection
for those of you that dont know once we have passed this you are ready to go back home and finish the car so you can present it as a finished rod
the guys there have been so helpfull
they have offered great advice from day 1
our rod licencing system is 2nd to none
its been a really enjoyable ride so far
so its back to the workshop to start tear down and get this thing finished
will do some more updates of chassis and body paint as i go
i may even have it ready for my 51st birthday

well iv been slowly plugging away at finishing things on the 32 in the last few months
iv just about finished the toy shop and got all my cars in there
hoist is all done and most of my memorabilia is on the walls
finished all the corrigated iron which runs at 1100 up from the floor to give it some character
also built a heap of cabinets with benches so everything gets stored away
so i started pulling down the coupe today i cant believe how easy it is to work on a hoist instead of on your back under a car

i have a big piece of carpet on the floor so i can put all the finished parts down without getting lost or damaged

so tomorrow after motocross il get the rotisery down from the mezzanine and bolt up the body so i can start doing the paint prep

chassis will get pulled down also and go on 2 engine stands that i have just to make it easier
full steam ahead hoping to wrap it up for my 51st

Hoist and room is great !
Don't you just hate it when the car has to come apart after you build it once, there always seems to be things missed or stuff that needs minor tweaking.
Should be nice going from now on with the hoist and all.

well i spent a little time at the toy shop today
as i like to do evreything on my own i came up with a plan to lift the body off the chassis
im fcukin loving this hoist
a little manoeuvring of my lift straps and up we went

wheeled the chassis clear of the body and set it down on a trolley

took all my fenders and running boards to the cabinet shop and started the big task of body work
in prep for paint

lots for me to do
slowly making progress now
