Should scrub up OK
I don't think I've ever seen an engine bay that oily though

What were they doing in there to make that much of a mess?

Hi Alan, the paint is great and original except for one guard.
The engine and engine bay is covered with "shift it" ... not oil

Hydra-Fluid through the Radiator pipes ... Lots of water gave a lovely colourful spill.
