Finally got mine out and gave it a wash today - now the long process of giving the exterior a couple of coats of NXT wax paste..... "skippy lotion"....
With all the stuff we're bringing, you'll be disappointed if we don't bring the "kitchen sink"....

How many sleeps, Lesley....? me thinks we'll be down to the fingers on one hand after tomorrow.....

We plan to slip our moorings here on Wednesday - be in Mt. G on Friday.

See y'all there..

Yes, Stewart - guess a lot of us are doing likewise, I finished waxing just before dinner tonight.
Have given the alloy mags a good dose of NXT - might be in for some wet weather on our trip...... there has been a lot of "sea" on the road from what I saw on the weather report tonight - perhaps a little rain might wash the salt back onto the shore....

Tomorrow sees me beginning to pack. This year, we will be bringing a 50 litre Waeco fridge - it will run off the car's 12v battery - hope I can keep Mini and the "b" team out of it......

If anyone needs one, I am bringing a multi-meter, a soldering iron, an air compressor and tyre insertion plug repair kit, a full set of jewellers files and screwdrivers - literally, a kitchen sink....... along with the other "usuals" I carry..... so, if anyone gets stuck and we're still on the road - "holler" and I'll try to help out....

No movie this year - but bringing the Box Brownie and a few lenses.

Leaving here Wednesday (2 sleeps) - see y'all in Mt. G just after lunch Friday... we're in the central CP.

Stewart - you never fail to amuse me...... "speed dial" - I know I can type fast, but didn't know I could dial fast as well.......

We're running via Ballaarat (correct spelling, actually) - by bringing the fridge, just in case we stop there - it affords opportunity to jump into somewhere to warm up .....

See you Friday, Stewart - safe travelling....
