Yeh Blacky, those up and over the diff were great fun NOT.
I think the pipes turned out good just a bit loud still even with two mufflers aither side, Oh well have to wait til I get some more $$ .
I am sure the old $ is a commen prob so we just have to be patient i spose.

Goos stuff Searsy,

Oh the joys of an interstate car

The hole is just the right size for a falchoon tank if you ever feel the need for extra kms between fills.

77 litres to be exact and theres a spot for a spare and theres still room in the boot for some luguage and a picnic basket,

thats why I put one in.

:D :D :D :D :D

Regards Greg

Yeh Greg I was looking through a few threads about the F@#D tank and think there the way to go, but as i said it was more about the time factor so the alley tank seemed the quickest way to go for now anyway.

Searsy I did that same with my tank mate. Although mine is a bit bigger though about 75l.
I dont think drop tanks look too bad, so long as their not dragging on the road

Yeh its not that i dont like the look of the drop tank (not to big or low actually looks good in my opininon) but it would be nice to have somewhere to put the spare

Yeah mine sits about 75mm lower than the floor of the boot, about the level with spring shackles. I tried to keep it as far away from the tail pipe as posible too so it sits to one side a little.
I cut my loses with the spare and will have to sit it on a false floor above the tank. I wont have a lot of room for luggage but I cant imagine I'll be taking it to Darwin and back!!

Looks good with bug catcher, shame you can't use it.
Are you getting a new bonnet or is the engineer ok with the hole (or air filter)?
