Or find a different guy to do a RWC. As far as rego goes the cars right.
Got a second opinion and the guy who did the roadworthy was happy with how it had been done and just had to fix a few items,All done now and registered.Sweeet!!

Just completed fitting lowered front springs and new shocks to the old girl. The old shocks were had it!
Used Pedders part number 2012.They were a pain to fit had to make a spring compressor and still struggled.
Looks a lot better and handles and rides better too.

Going to take the old girl to Mt Gambier Queens Birthday weekend for the FB-EK Nationals so decided on a bit of a tidy up.The bonnet was all fried up and crows footed so that had to be fixed.Broke a tag of the letter 'E' removing it but managed to find a complete set at Geelong swap meet .I asked the guy how much and he said $5 which I thought was fair enough for one but he said that was for all 6!Bargain.i knocked the broken bit out of the clip but then dropped the clip on the floor and lost it.They are like a tiny roll pin and seem impossible to get a replacement.Rang Rare Spares in Roxburgh Park and was answered by some young girl who had no idea what I wanted.
Started stripping back with 60 and 80 grit, used an orbital on some but mostly with a block.
Not bad for 1961 sheetmetal, no rust or dents a tiny bit of bog. This was 3 weeks ago so I was cutting it fine.

Blocked it back then sanded a bit deep in couple of places so had to give it another coat on the weekend then a light guide coat .It's all blocked back now ready for top coats on Saturday.I have to fix some bog in the front guards but that will have to wait till I have more time .Then I might take the bonnet off and do under neath. This is just a quick revamp.I was hoping to have the HR buckets and new carpet in but the trimmer hasn't done anything even though he's had them since January.he says they'll be done next week but that will be too late as we 're leaving Friday

Didn't want to go to the hassle of removing the bonnet so just masked everything else.I used some rust converter as an etch then Autothane highbuild primer.Used my 1000 watt work lights to get some heat in the panel as it is freezing down here
