:) Nah its of the hyundi Getz new model 2010 /11
its funny how many different reds there are out there
some look almost orange to pink when put up against each other
and some are just to bright like the holden sting red on the commodore or chilli red on the new barina's :)

Hi :)
ive repaired 3 doors now here is one of them just needs one more
rub back with 2000 so as to get a shine to it i then wipe the pannel with
some prepsol wax and grease remover so it looks wet makes it easy to check for any dents
that i might have mist then if all good its ready to paint :D
also have finished the bonnet and stone tray 8)

You better stock up in 'refreshment'...I think I'll be spending a bit of time going over your projects come June, Jay.
Looking good mate.
Pay no attention to Mick, I too like my primer to shine from a good fine grit rub. (SO?..we're gluttons for punishment...so sue us! :P     ).

Thats what I thought too Harko - my mate who paints all my cars says no finer than 800 or the paint wont key properly.

Ask 10 painters and get 10 different opinions I guess.

It might make a difference when doing two-pack, but the idea of primer is that it bites to both the steel & the colour when using acrylic ...that's what I was told by the painter who I learned of anyhoo. :?
