I'm working on it (one of the downfalls with living in the middle of nowhere can't go looking for things like rubbers etc) and as you say once it's done I won't need them  :x

also forgot to mention a front windscreen that was just pulled in quickly so it had a front windscreen ................. and that's all it was a WIND screen cause it certainly didn't stop much water

got the windscreen "professionally fitted" i use that term quite losely the guy came recomended and i know i won't recomend him to anybody, his scape goat oh second hand rubber (the rubber was fine) just a shit job of fitting the screen and as i expected it still leaks probly as bad as it did when i just quickly pulled the screen in with NO sealant  :x :x
well took it to the all holden day just parked in the swap meet had people all over the whole time i was there so pretty pleased with that and drove the 250k trip back home now with a few ks under it's belt gave it the maniac test and give it a fairly hard time coming home i must say it passed :) only thing to fault is vibrations feels like uni vibration but unis feel fine also feels like a problem with wheels and or tyres (more vibrations) :( i may have or may have not touched on 100mph  but that's about all it may or may not have had  could or could not have sat on 80mph happily all day
got pulled over for no number plates (drove on a permit) was a trouble free experiance funny thing was he was behind me for atleast 5 ks before he finally stopped me

Well done mick. I didn't go this year but now I remember that i was going to call in just to meet you and see your car. I went for a cruise down south in the FJ ute instead. We're there any "projects" for sale at the swap meet?

i only looked at the swap on the saturday there was a pretty ordinary HQ van only thing in my opinion that would come close to trying to justify the $6000 asking price was that it was an X cop van
and a weirdo south african HK premier had everything premier but in a kingswood body had the flag badges on the guards but with 4.1 litre in them and had a chev 6 cylinder engine don't know how much as had the typical for sale and a phone No to hard to write a price  i would assume not cheap though as the guy that had it was a wheeler dealer from VIC
sunday i parked the car with my mate's swap stall and didn't really move far from it so can't really say what was about on sunday, i kinda wish i'de put for sale on it but finding someone with the 14-15k i'de want would be another matter i think
