Thanks for that Gaz;
I was cleaning out a couple of my shelves getting parts to take for painting and found a bag of them that I had thought I had but just couldn't find :shock: :esurprised: :eh: :eh: :eh:

Well I had to visit Keith the body/paint guy on Saturday and was able to see his progress.

I'm amazed at how much he has been able to do especially with the roof, I really dodn't think it would come out so well and he says he isn't finished with it yet he is goinfg to beat on it a bit more.

Rear section behind the rear window had to be replaced as it was rusted out underneath, thanks to Pete and Dave for the donor section.

Keith has also done the fuel filler (don't have a photo at the moment) and I'm going to drop the engine in while it is at his place.

Is it me or is this moving along a lot quicker than you were expecting? I love watching a good metal worker revive a trashed panel, it’s a helluva talent.

Looking really good Neil, keep the updates coming

You must be loving this Neil. Coming along nicely and going to be a pretty tidy ride in the not too distant future the way you’re going.
Cheers

Looks like a good spot to practice some lead loading as well !!!

Coming along nicely, body work is very time consuming I must admit.

Appreciate the pics Neil, and always good to see a metal artist do their trade. Keep them pics coming.

Great stuff, Neil. I think many would have thought that roof was toast and replaced it.

Because my bumpers and other things are going to not be chromed but silver/grey I decided to also paint the engine the same.
It looks really silver in the first photo but that is under the strong lights in my shop at home.
Engine and gearbox going in Saturday.
