don't think i'm selling it just yet i might try and give it a chance
think i'll be happy with the red 6 might look at air con
rear side glass will just be fixed in place glass, still not 100% sure on how i'll go about it first thought was sikaflex it in but if it were to brake or needed to be removed i think it would be a pain in the butt

I was planning on just using a window regulator to hold mine in Mick , and cut the spline off the winder or make an armrest to cover it .
I started with nothing and still have most of it left.

never thought of that my only worry with that to me is i really want it sealed up don't want water to get in as there's nowhere for it to get outBlacky wrote:I was planning on just using a window regulator to hold mine in Mick , and cut the spline off the winder or make an armrest to cover it .
one down brake test passed guy was quite happy with how they work, it's a system i thought of myself and no doubt others have done the same but i didn't copy it and i've used it before but never had to have them tested

Re: pain in the rrrs stuff laying around
the good thing is hopefully the engineer will recommend it for others excluding them from the bloody brake test.

Re: pain in the rrrs stuff laying around
it wasn't done at the engineer ( i seem to have found another no nonsense not out to rip everybody off engineer ) it was just done at a brake and clutch place that the engineer sent me to, other engineers i've heard prices of $500+ even up to $2000 with track hire etc this test $38.60 gives a report on brake force on each seperate wheel and handbrake plus percentage front to rear and decelleration in G force so can't see that you would need any more than thatDevilrod wrote: the good thing is hopefully the engineer will recommend it for others excluding them from the bloody brake test.

Great price Mick.
I had a mechanic in Pakenham book me in for a brake test at $350, so I rang around and ended up paying $20. I let the first bloke know when I rang to cancel ).

i could have probly made it even more worthwhile aswell if i had of thought about it, for rego in NSW they do a brake test in the inspection and that is how they figure the price so what i should have done was asked them could they do the rego inspection aswell, but as things go i'm happy paying the $38
