Surely there a diff joint over there with a jig that could do that for you ???

There was a guy working out of his back shed that did diff mods so I will give him a call tomorrow.
May be cheaper and less hassles.
I see Clay has 3.08:1 coarse spline banjo centre for sale, unless there someone else in Wilunga selling Holden parts.

Funnily enough there is another Clay near by that I bought an fb sedan from. He does dodgy paint and panel. I had someone contact me through gumtree thinking I was him. They weren’t very happy.

Rog you’re welcome to that diff if you want it. I’ve not had it in a car so pot luck. The one in my ute is a goody and the lsd one that was in my sedan is noisy.

Better you get a Borg Warner and shorten it with that big block 202 you’re running.

LJ diff on hold for the moment.
I have now completed the remote oil filter setup done.
Filter now near to auto trans with straight lines and space to do a filter change. My first choice of location would have required the oil lines to bend 90 degrees. I did chase up a couple of formed rubber lines but at $30 a piece too dear for me.
Lowered the steering shaft support so it's is now clearing the sump.

Next up is the trans oil lines to the radiator and I have to move the brake pedal. Not enough room between the tunnel and the brake pedal.
In retrospect the tunnel could have been smaller.

Nice looking job that one, where did you buy the remote filter housing?
Is it 1/4 NPT fittings?

The remote filter kit is from Outlaw Speed shop in Rosewater.
The fittings are 1/2" NPT
Very happy with bracket I made, sits neatly and is bolt in.

Grabbed the oil lines from the wrecker this afternoon but some dick cut the front ones to get the radiator.
Not much left on this WB ute now.
Not sure if I have the bundy tube but I salvaged the fittings. A trip to Power Brakes on the cards.

Thanks Blacky but do not need now.
The remote kit and bracket is sorted and I routed new trans oil lines around it.

As I'm going with standard linkages for accelerator and not cable, I put the brake booster/ dual master cylinder on to ensure I had no clearance issues.
All good but I do not like the look of the brake lines I bend sometime ago, so making these again.

I have made a change to reservoir as the master cylinder I purchased to fit to the Gemini booster leans too far back. Ok when used in the car it was designed for XA-XB so I spent sometime at the local U Pull IT wreckers and found the VT Comodore has the same spacing for the front and rear circuits.
A little trim here and there and it sit good. Just need to sort out how to hold it down as the tab with screw does not align. Also need a bracket at the front to support it. Cheers,
