I do not recollect mentioning you at all RB. Don't be so paranoid. Take a Bex and have a good lie down

Dont worry, everyone with any horsepower will be waiting for your grey on club runs.

I'm sure they will Stanley, and like when Stewart's car is done, I'm sure we'll all have a lot of fun, as that's what it's all about at the end of the day.

Nice to see your project is still moving ahead.
You're in front of me.
Keep up the great work, looking good. The panels came out great.

Hi Stewart,
you ARE doing this the correct way.... and you know it.
I expect you'll be in tears they day you roll it out under it's own steam again......... you were close they day you finally started the engine ........ you didn't fool me!
The journey is the largest part of the destination........ don't rush!

Rosco

I think he'll also be in tears once he adds up all the receipts...
In the end it will be all worth it

Just perhaps, Cal - through those receipts, we can appreciate where these exorbitant prices on the market for our ilk reach........
and, folk...... if you are considering purchasing one - do it now!..... they are not going to get any cheaper..... and........ your chances of finding any remaining
"grandpa's old bomb in the shed" are nearing the dodo bird's existence.......
Stewart, forget the receipts...... others squander their coupons on a daily basis...... you will, at the very least - have a material and meaningful resurrection for your efforts and financial outlay...... which will ultimately become generational.....
frats,
Rosco

thanks Finny.

I did a it of 'censorship' with those pics of the panels...I'll have to get some pics up of the bad bits... You'll get there - just keep chipping away.
I expect you'll be in tears they day you roll it out under it's own steam again
for sure Rosco and I wont be the only one...
The journey is the largest part of the destination........ don't rush!
timely advice for me...with the EK Nats in June I would love it to be there and we would make it with a rush job but I'll keep enjoying the journey...oh and that also gives me a chance to keep saving my pennies...

the lid is firmly on the shoebox with all the receipts Pete...

I have every confidence you'll do Old Timer proud, Stewart - sadly, if you present it at this year's nats - I won't be there to share your pride....... possibly next year or more likely the year after..... we have to make use of available health in our quest to fulfill our intention to travel this wondrous country of ours......
2013 is projected as Feb through April in Tasmania (very much looking forward to returning in total contrast to the canonball trip with the Vic club)..... and will most likely see us home in Vic for winter of that year (for a short portion, at most....). Don't know who's hosting - but very much hope to again be part of yet another magnificent gathering........ and absolutely no rush to get there or back........and most definitely no longer the need to leave at sparrow's break on huge day journeys risking further encounters with skippy......
It is well past time we re-kindled passion with our old bus and joined in with the wonderful and varied collection of personalities which make us unique..... not to mention the magnificent vehicles within the collective........
Sorry for the O/T folk..... was more directed to Stewart as apologies for failure to remain in contact......
My warmest greetings to our norther NSW club members.......
frats,
Rosco

Hi Stewart,

Love your fence too.. nice and high!!
just wondering if you have a protec product code for the etch pro? I cant seem to find it on the tech sheets.
Cheers
Ed

OK Scotty! pressure is on now!
Ed - Unfortunately the panels look deceiving...all the doors needed work, so did the bonnet and bottom tailgate. On the Protech website
http://www.protec.com.au/ I used the search field and entered 'etch pro' and got
http://www.protec.com.au/etch-primers-s ... /i1001857/ The product code for the single pack - 421 and two pack etch - 406. I used the single pack etch pro.

thanks Stewart,
So you've got your panels done now?
thanks for the link, it was under "industrial coatings" rather than automotive.. the single pack primer was under automotive.
Cheers
Ed
