Although it looks like there is a gap between the guard and the top of the tyre, it is actually well buried and is only the black paint causing an illusion. Once it is painted, it will look similar to the rear tyre.

They are from the 'vintage' american racing series, so should look atleast semi old skool 8) I am keen to start painting in about 2 or 3 weeks, giving me a month to do it before I get back to uni, and should be ready for some summer cruising with J, Adam and Chris :)

Mate I was just looking at your thread and it seems to be a Utopian vision of what I would love to see happening in my garage. No orange peel would be sweeeet. If you have any tips on not getting orange peel I would love to know :)

Hey Fatboy,
I plan to keep the over riders so that they can be installed at a later date if I ever want to put them back on. They are in mint condition, and are worth more stashed away for another day then having to search for a pair in similar condition at a later date.
Sorry Mate.

Ps What rims are you going to run now?

andrew man.... looks like the car now needs some tlc. I love the mags.

No orange peel on acrylic will need a nice steady rubbing of teh paint with say 1500 wet and dry once fully dry. Hint mix in soap to the water, saves tried arms and paper. Once smooth, clear coat or buff.
