More work on the radiator tomorrow and the final subframe
Shame they donβt make them long enough, will fold some up and curve them

I wonder if if will actually come off the hoist - found all the parts today as I was trying to convert my store room back into a workshop
Build chassis kit tomorrow as Neil too the other one some time back

After looking at Gregβs car on the hoist last week I am thinking I should look at doing this on my van, while it is on the rotisserie. Easier than working underneath.

In actual fact I did mine on the rotisserie as well.
You also don't really need to use a hadfield kit, there are other ways of doing the rails, their purpose is to tie the front and back of the monocoque together to limit tortional twist.
They are also very handy for gearbox and tail shaft loops to attach to.
With a V8 conversion I used the strengthening plates for underneath the front sub frame as well as outrigger ties for the Torrie front end.

Hey Gaz do you still have the dxf file or a pattern for the subframe stiffening plates ? I am going to need a pair for the 2 door

Bit of a clean up and finding parts today
The more I look the more I think this is one I should of left original

pulled the tarp out today n gave it a basic clean n cut off all the cable ties

its in surprisingly reasonable nick bit of sun required to get the wrinkles out
starting to knock out a few dings ready for assembly
