Scotty , A perfectionist , don't know where you got that from   but thank you

Confucius says you funny man :D

Thanks EKfanPaul , no side windows going like to keep passengers in the dark :)

tm50 , funny thing is I am enjoying this as well , but you ask me to do maintenance on one of our daily,s and I grumble and groan .

Had to put a new timing belt in the wife's Hyundai tonight , grumble ,grumble , and she came down when I was making the extractors for my Ute and said my 253 doesn't fit ,too tight , Christ , they must have little fingers to get all that crap jammed in so tight into an Hyundai

Oh , and it is a six pack job to put a timing belt kit in

Was waiting for someone to jump on that , my son put that up for me a couple of years back ,funny little bugger, because I have a habit of hanging stuff on the ground .

My wife brought me a tool trolley , draw thingy for Christmas , to try and alter my ways , so most tools have been transferred to that .

Is sort of working :P well most of the time

Finally got a few more hours in on the Ute this week , made a start on the motor , got the bottom end together , crank ,pistons ,cam etc in .
Got the heads back together , so should finish getting it all together this week .

Spent the weekend on the wire brush cleaning up the rear suspension parts and got my first bit of colour on some bits , ready to start putting stuff back on .

Yeah that's the body colour , is more orange than red .

Base colour is a red with a purple tinge to it , and it has a gold pearl over it .

Bugger to paint , these pieces have , etch primer , then 2pac primer , then base coat , then clear with pearl , then clear over that .

Spend all day cleaning your gun out
