You've done a lot better than I did with mine Jay.
- the sad thing is that now you know how to do it, just laying down a few coats over something will never quite bring satisfaction.....
And - doesn't it make life easier when you spend that extra time getting the panel right when it comes to blocking back and polishing the colour coats....?
You'll regret having learned to develop the "eye" necessary to get this result - you'll never look at another car the same way again.
Looking forward to getting an optic on this - well done, it is a credit to the effort you have undoubtedly put into your work....

Thanks guys for the great comments

Rosco your right ive put a huge effort into the panel work
on the wagon as every panel was dented and had rust
that needed repair i just kept going over each panel and
repairing things that you miss and really trying to be patient
with it and so far its comming up ok

Keep it out of supermarkets, Jay..... never seen a trolley pusher worry about chipping the chrome on the trolley yet.....

Jay, only just started reading your thread.
You've done an awesome job, the colours are mint. theres somethin about that blue, suits the car,, cant wait to see the rest of the car like that rear guard. i like it

got a couple more panels rubed and compounded
front drivers door and driver's side front gaurd
and im half way through doing the roof

I am going on a road trip north in the near future, I would love to get a close look at this car if it is all right with you, colour skeem is fab and the workmanship is #1. Very well done so far "J" Can't wait for the end product.
