The finish on this one is beautifully sharp and clean. A very good eye for colour, line and detail.

Cheers,
Harv

Would anybody have any info on the laws in WA about retro fitting a set or original (reconditioned) seatbelts. From what I can see and what the previous owner has told me is that they had never been fitted from factory for this car. Is there any specific engineering required for pillar bolts or floor plates etc?
I’m just gunna run the original panic straps in the rear but would like to fit the original type seatbelts to the front

You could have a talk to Alex Siciliano at Seat Belt Solutions at Welshpool. He will recondition and certify using your fittings.

Finally got my seats trimmed and he absolutely nailed it, super stoked. Just a quick snapshot, will post more pics when they go in the car.

I ordered about 10m of the "Grey Fleck" material, of which I think we only used about maybe 2m. I will be keeping some for any future re-trims but happy to sell some if anybody is in need.

I'll be fitting it possibly early next week, I'll keep you posted. Early signs are positive but may have to cut it down a bit as we discussed.

Well we finally got "Frankie" fired up after plenty of distributor/coil issues. Turns out the fully reconditioned Bosch dizzy I bought was not so reconditioned but with some repairs and back to original points (had Pertronix EI) we are up and running.

Unfortunately it failed the first pit pass due to the modified front end (HR disc brake) not being certified, rookie mistake I know  . Easy fix though and have the engineer booked in.

I would like to upgrade/change the dizzy (with pertronix) and coil and was interested to know what dizzy/coil combo people are running? I have a relatively stock 138 with duel strombergs

I just put a HEI setup in mine and its really made a difference - had to send a stock dizzy over east on a service exchange deal and it doesnt look stock but its now heaps easier to start, flat spot off idle is gone and it revs much cleaner 8) 8)
