Surely there would've been at least one enterprising chap out there who had come up with the idea of hiring out wedding cars?

wonder who they are at the wedding, my family are from down around there and my grandfather had taxis in bowral/mittagong, i was 1 week old

Mmmmmmmm, look at those fins!

I think the hiring of the taxi for weddings was quite common in small country towns. My mother-in-laws' brother still lives in Waimati in NZ and is restoring the family Zephyr that was the towns taxi/bridal car for years.

Love the obligatory 'elbows-out-the-window' in the photo of the traffic too.
