Upper outer pivots would accept no grease so pulled out z nd cleaned. Purchased seals at $3.25 per side and reset the alignment. Wound the caster back as far as I dare without squishing the new rubber and using my trusty clinometer app it appears the best I can get is about neutral. Measuring the side of the upright versus bottom of sill as I can't get the clino on the king pin. Camber is negative 2 degrees and I've got the pin up as high as I can without affecting camber. . . . hate to tell you this, but the seals you installed are for the lower outer pivot pin. The upper outer pivot pin grease seals are about 1/2" long when uncompressed. I'd almost suggest doubled-over road-bike inner tube if the correct replacements are unavailable.

Oh arr ee arr!
It’s not hard to pull apart thankfully. Here is what came out, basically 5/8 hose section inside diameter.Image
I got one set of these cup style ones which I thought were for the inners.Image
They weren’t dear and they are restocking them, so can get more. Otherwise maybe get some hose and make my own. I could reuse the old ones as two of four were goodish.

I need to get it up to speed and see how it handles. Still some weight to go on the front but steering doesn’t seem heavy on the garage floor.

Started putting lining plates in. I tried to get new zinced screws but no. Don't throw these away if you are doing s commercial. There are 72 in all and I soaked them 24h in citric acid, rinsed with water, then phosphoric acid, then water and finally metho. Sounds a lot but in reality took ten minutes. Result is fair to muddling but they will take paint if need be.

Have to leave the other panels for wiring.ImageImage

I happened to have four HR passenger rims, the so called HR disc (myth busted thanks to ardiesse and Dr Terry). Hope they will come up ok with a soak in the wheely bin once stripped, and go on the car for rego. Will paint them to match the car with 175 80 13 tyres and hub caps.Image

You can get the screws but not in Aus - I’ll have a look I might have some left as it was cheaper to buy a box

Cheers Rob. Got the drains sorted. 3/4" OD hose but had to drill the inside to fit on the 1/2" OD outlets.Image
