Re: 22's on ek-fb
Ok, Since this has been moved to this thread I may as well put up a few pics... Most of this work was done a few years ago, I lost pretty much all my build pics. The car has a 253v8 that I will probably swap for a 308, m21 4 speed, 10bolt diff shortened with vn axles Some small wheels and heaps of other custom stuff I'll add over time.
Hr front, hq stubs etc etc.. Set up for Red v8
Doovalacky for the trottle set up my old man made up from 316 stainless
Custom block hugers we made.
Booster, This will eventally be moved into the boot.

This is the rotissery I've been making bit by bit. It's almost finished, Just need to add some wheels and locking pins.
Had to notch a bit out to get the wheels to fit.
Rear section of the new rails in the making. Figured using card board might keep some of the cost down. RHS is getting expencive
Welders, Mig, Tig & Arc

Re: 22inch Ek
I'm looking forward to the progress of this build. Should be of a good standard from what you've posted and some great ideas to overcome problems. Keep up the good work and keep posting.

Hey Kiid,
Just been following your post and I do like your approach and your conviction. There have been more great cars built out of spite than jealousy, so if it takes a big turd to ignite your fire, then at the end of this we can all thank the over-opinionated.
Keep the details and pics coming, and don't stop having a go mate...it's MORE Australian than the TALL POPPY syndrome
Cheers,
SCK

Re: 22inch Ek
The way I look at it is...anything is possible with lots of thought & determination.
I sit back & watch the so-called (radical ideas) come to fruition.
I can't knock any build as I can't do the things that these talented blokes do.
Scotty.
