Hey Adam,
I went to order an amp etc on Wednesday, said it will be there Friday - they remembered the amp, but not the wiring
Problem is, they are moving out to Morley on Wednesday and cant get me one, I should be able to get one at a show this weekend so in a couple of weeks maybe.
I will make sure I give you a call and let you know whats happening.
You should have dropped in on Sunday, I was out the front working on my boot pretty much all day

well after a month of the ek sitting it may finally be on the road tomorrow (i prey)
got an alternator of fastjbav6 and it works great,
but when putting it on i discovered the fan belt doesnt fit!
went and bought one from supercheap - a cm to short?
then went and got one - slightest bit too big and i went for a road test and it snapped
that was last weekend, i havent made it back there yet but i will go there tomorrow and get one.
Today, Andrew (Aust)Mod and my mate kieran came over and we wired up my new headunit, and put in some temporary speakers for cruisin tomorrow night.
threw in some neon under the dash too
The system works good - next i gotta get some $$$ to wire up the subwoofa!

almost dropped off the front page there!
well remember my glovebox I made?
well the stereo was sliding around a bit so I figured I would tidy it up a bit
I have also got some small other things I want to tidy up,
the bonnet has a crack in it somehow and I was wondering what your advice would be to do with this?
and the steering wheel also has heaps of little chips in it, and a few cracks. Would like to metalflake it when I do the dash etc
anyway next week I plan to properly wire up my alternator,
then get rid of all the wires and that big all regulator
oo and maybe get my gauges inside working, might treat myself to some nice moon ones
oh yea, Andrew gave me this FREE fbekholden.com sticker........ without the dot, so me being very intelligent got a hole punch and a sticky label...
I beat the system

The 'crack' is a result of moisture getting under the paint of your bonnet. I have a feeling that the moisture has made contact with some form of hygroscopic material which has subsequently expanded. Having seen this crack in the flesh, I would recommend removing the surrounding bonnet badge letters and giving the area a good sand to remove the crack, and them repainting the localised area. As for the steering wheel, our ek's has the same problem. I belive this is another instance requiring a little abrasive attention and some form of crack repair as seen on our biggest claim to hot rodding tv fame Cruzin'.
As for the photo shops, they look awesome, but only because the car has no handles
My vote goes so uber low, shaved and white walls. Don't really care much for the flaked roof or scallops on a green as vivacious as yours. K.I.S.S. is what people like DR will tell you and it really is the answer to a cool looking car. I would personally love some scallops on my car, but it would make the side look far too busy in conjunction with the pearl flash, so I have decided to 'kiss'.
I think we both need to go and visit Alan Smart at AAP and get us some flappers. I rekon my hopsters would look
with them and bullet centre caps:)

Aaaaahhhh very good Grasshopper....
Took the words right out of my mouth. In the end its your car but for more "visual impact" less can somtimes be more. Look at Ratbox's recently finished and sold wagon as another good example.
I'd probably steer clear of the wires. The flake, just on the roof could work really well especially if the rims were done to match..... or if you really want go with some super slim flake scallops a bit more subtle but enough to break up the sides. Also some nicely done pinstriping could help too.

had a bit more spare time........
now you have no quarter window's (front or rear), spatz kinda.........adds another whole kustom look.
