Much awaited wheel cylinders arrived. One guess what size heads on the bleed screws I obtained. Image

Here’s a curiosityImageThe hand brake cable to backing plate mounts are marked L & R. Well some are. No obvious difference but oh well guess I’ll reassemble accordingly.

Rears on, fronts assembled. ImageThe brake guys told me they use kopr kote on the adjuster threads and a smear around the inside of the adjuster lid. Just be sparing with it and don’t let it near the pistons.

Passenger side rear completed today. Next job hook up the handbrake cable. I have a replacement for the pull handle which is broken. Threw some elcheapo black enamel on it this evening. The front cable is good but the adjuster threaded rod is bent slightly and won’t turn. It will all have to come out. Fun fun fun. Waiting for paint to dry on front backing plates before I do the front brakes.

Bloody hell, Clay, does that mean your brakes might fail?

Should be right, mate. It’s inside the car.

Looks like you’re having fun Clay

Did you work out why the Red was running hot before the starter gave up?

Ha! That’s a relief then. Maybe try two gallons next time? Image
