Great work there Stewart... I can feel your pain with those rear quarters, especially since you are using the Rare Spares patch panels! You and Luis must be close to getting rid of all the motheaten metal by now.

Hmmmm, do I see a flogged out old grey motor going in for some "go fast" treatment? All going well, I should be picking up my triples tomorrow. Can't wait to see what they look like all polished up and with the frogmouths!

You've gone to the right place for the engine work although poor Russell has his work cut out for him since Terry has semi retired.
All that rust work must be driving you nuts by this stage .
Its looking good keep it up as the light at the end of the tunnel is shining brighter.

must have been a swarm of those moths that love steel patch panels were repros but not rares. they wern't toooo bad for repros...alternative options????...not that many...

which reminds me I think I was supposed to get you the details of where I got those patch panels from... do you still need those details?

thanks Greg. Yes I sensed that - the couple of times I've dropped in. Phone was ringing, people dropping in/out, old engines being delivered off and fresh ones going out...good thing for business.

Hey Stew, we ended up persisting with the Rares panels and got it done. Thanks for asking anyway. Yep, I'm looking forward to tomorrow! Would have been a Christmas present if I didn't keep hassling him.

that's the aim and fingers crossed...pulling out all stops now. whilst all the rust has been happening I've been doing lots of other 'stuff' which I'll hopefully post up in the next month or so when it starts to come together...

makes me feel good about the one i'm 2 dooring virtually 0 rust for a change, i've actually put more rust in it than it had the back doors we welded in need a bit of patch work

are all yor panels done or is this just the body that's near done

RB - panels are pretty good rust wise but all need the normal panel work to get the dings etc out.
