I Think the first pic is tops but the second is more realistic (tyre rub)

I would have said the first pic, but it depends on the steering and tyre rub doesn't it? Trev

Cheers guys for the feed back, will try and drop the front down as low as usable !

Dropped stub axles arrived yesterday, For note the P76 rotor compared to the HQ rotor is 10mm difference, P76 shorter.
HQ rotor 45mm from disc face to end
P76 rotor 35mm from disc face to end

Rodney please throw some pics up of your holden !!! With a username of EKV862 you must be Grima. Your car was a major influence on my own EK. I still have a copy of "Best Holdens" Edition No 4 with your car in it. All my notes from when I was an apprentice about your build and what I needed to do for the red sedan. Even got my tubs done at Sunnyholt Rd Blacktown ( I cant remember the name of the shop, was about 8-10 years ago - but he wouldnt go as big as yours on mine. Think it was Mario who did the work). Even loved the way you did the rear with filler, as you can see on my red one.
Dave, the exhaust was only done on Wednesday. Glad a club member got to see the car in flesh finally hahahaha. Cheers for the photos mate, sorry you didnt get to hear it start up, you only missed it going into the shop by 10 minutes.

Nah Rod car wont be at All Holden Day, will take the EJ down for a run to the show however and have a look round. Its always a good day.
Just looking forward to having it ready for the wedding. The trimmer who did the hood lining pulled the pin on me about a week back. "Too many comittments" was the reason , which has really F#$%ed me up. Have another guy lined up however who can have it done by the week before the wedding

. Was pretty intense for a little bit trying to get something sorted.
A few small pieces I put in 2.5 weeks ago for chroming have blown out. I was assured 10 to 15 days for completion. After contacting them today ... another week and a half

Twice the time they told me originally.
SO today the car is back off to the spray painters, few little areas to fix up whilst I wait on the interior chrome and and trimmer does the internal door cards and kick panels.
The ride height has been also lowered, cheers for the help guys on making my mind

looking awesome, sucks about the trimmer though. glad you found another one.
geez those rear springs are flat, or is it just me?
stupid question: with the p76 rotors, do they make the wheel face closer to the centre of the car do they?
anyway, very cool car and best of luck with getting it done in time, and the wedding in general

Wish it was that easy Gary !!!
When he pulled the pin I wanted to set him on fire

Got 4 weeks left so the chrome pieces will make it in time .... As for Bridezilla hahahaha well this car was the first thing we purchased together way back when I was 17 (learnt to drive in this car).
All I hear now is " That Fn car better not ruin my wedding day !!!!! ". The car has always hated her since the day we got it. It would only break down when she got in it. I would drive it for months , every day to work as an apprentice, she would hop in on a weekend and something would fail. Happened so many times !!! She is very sentimental with it however and is looking forward to having it as the car
Luke the P76 rotors and the CRS Stub Axles do narrow the front track width (they will pull the wheels closer to the middle of the car). I got 10mm for the P76 rotors (note these require a bearing to suit HQ spindle - $173 from Castlemain Rod Shop). The dropped spindles gave 15mm, about an inch either side. The rear springs are reversed and strengthed for the ride height, I think one has sagged however. Given the time constraints will address it after the wedding with the way things are going

god i love possesive cars, my hz tonner was the same. i drove it to brissy and back then to canberra and back, not a problem in the world. my now ex wife jumped in it to go to the shops and it died 2 kms from home on the way there. i turned up, jumped in, and drove off like nothing had even happened. i should've listened to the car and traded in the missus there and then. lol.
if its getting close and your missing something for the ek to be perfect, let us know and i'm sure one of us will get you the part you need.
