There was so must rust in that old girl, you could see what shorts Scotty was wearing , when he drove past.

actually it belongs to Luis... and yep it's come in handy Ed...when you can't get angle grinder access and esp good for curve cuts...

another update...what's been happening since the last one...

drivers rears quarter...

say 'cheese'...

messy

more messy

tack tack

fully welded

nearly fully grinded

inside...gee that was a crappy job to get clean

the drivers side was a bit worse...more holes but had also had a ding underneath the quarter.

looking much better...still needs to be pulled out a bit at the bottom and we had some warpage that needs to be pushed out.

a couple of weeks back the covers came off this old thing and it went for its longest drive for a while

along with some other friends

too right Sam!...the pin hole of light at the end of the rust tunnel is becoming much much brighter

Luis and I are thinking maybe 4 weeks to go till the end of the rust...I'll have to check but I think we started this 2 and half years ago...
