Clay the cradle allows you to use nearly all the components because all the mounting points are moved inwards but of course you can't do that with the original axles, toe in bars or the sway bar that's why they have to be changed.
And now found that the VE uses larger wheel studs ow well I'm committed now or I should be (in an asylum )

More done yesterday, decided to wait to fit the outer sill to the passenger side and start on the lower drivers side A pillar.
What a mess (thanks EK Mart ) Looks like both the inner and outer on this side will have to be replaced.
Onwards and upwards I suppose. My grinding to welding ratio is still shit

Thanks Neil. I see that the inner pivots are moved inboard to suit the narrower track. Clever.

I see by your last photo that you are aware of the alignment of the subframe attaching hole axis’.

Good progress there Neil - I go out and look at mine and then find a different job that needs to be done.

You have that right Scott, I look over the car when I'm working on something and can't see the end coming anytime soon but I'm getting there slowly.
Once the front floors etc. are done I can move to the back, I have to cut out the tank surround (not sure what is going in there yet) and work on the inner and outer rear quarters behind the wheels.

As I've said before there won't be much of the original Reverend left by the time I'm finished

Fingers crossed," you gave voice to what all of us who've done a lower A-pillar/cowl/inner and outer sill repair think. But yet it seems to work out. If in doubt, trial-fit the subframe. That's the important part.

Rob I think a trial fit of the subchassis is on the cards I just need to repair it first

Clay if it took you a couple of weeks it would take me twice that, the repair pieces are great, not perfect, expensive but I would hate to have to try to make those sections.

Think I was a bit ambitious thinking I would get it all completed yesterday, got the inner done going to try to get the outer done today.

I have a question relating to the rear cradle, does it have adjustable ride height coil overs ? Just curious if this is possible.

Hi Greg;
Yes the cradle has adjustable coil overs, their instructions say to fit it all to the vehicle, lower the car onto the ground and measure the height of the shock and if it is not 260mm then raise the car again and adjust the shock height until you get the 260mm.
