Re: Project 2.
Yes. They are the same a I have on my ute. The only downside with mine is that you have to take the bases off in order to use the vacuum synchronising tool as they have a strap across the opening to accept the top cover bolt.

Careful what you wish for - I have pencilled in a shed tour and a cuppa at your joint the day we leave Sydney and head for Stratford to catch up with me mate Kuna Jack and Mr Allardyce the grey motor whisperer
I started with nothing and still have most of it left.

Maybe you do things differently in WA, but here we usually ask to visit, not tell.

Thanks for the tip. Unfortunately the Redline site, which is rather confusing and not too user friendly, shows them out of stock. In fact they show around half their air filter assemblies out of stock. I found them on eBay but marked up by 50%.Brett027 wrote:These?

I thought you would keep them packaged with the CD-150s but if not I would be very happy to buy them from you. Will send you a PM.

Re: Project 2.
New exhaust on yesterday to make it exhale better. I finally put the tow bar back on and the old exhaust no longer fitted without banging on things. So it had to be upgraded. Geoff at GRod Exhaust in Latham, ACT did a neat job and it has a nicer tone and maximum flow with its mandrel bends and shiny chrome tip. A few flanges so it can come apart easier if need be as well. A noticeable improvement on the way home. This thing is a real joy now- well apart from driving through Canberra with 42 traffic lights in a 50 minute drive.
I think I can extract a few more ponies as the air/ fuel guage is showing me it is leaning out on acceleration. Something to play with.

Was going to ask the same, have you increased exhaust diameter Brett?
