ahh page 2 again, i gotta work quicker...
well filled, weled and skim bogged the orignal aerial hole...
Then we started work on that dreaded Battery section, thanks to the section i got from Blacky at the start of my posting...No looking to special yet but it will get there...
Outside of the inner guard..
Inner Section.. still bits to weld into the puzzle!
and then ruddy's rebate money came in handy, got rid of the old e-brake setip for one of these...Lokar 11" to sit next to the shifter, all working with the bench seat...
also a bit more brake booster work, and then skim bogged but haven't got to sanding this one yet...
Cheers

also got the engineer coming around for an initial inspection on what's been done, so fingers crossed all is well!

Thanks mate, hoping to get that front guard section finished, inlcuding skimm bogged and sanded, i build the curves into the front section by hand, even my old man was a bit impressed
i'm happy with it, for someone who's never dont this sort of work before every weekend is a new learning curve, but i get in there and just try and remember how i've seen things done on other's car's and just go welding and grinding away (usually followed by alot more welding, getting burnt, then fixing the holes i blew through, then grinding... and finished with beer

)
Cheers

Well me an the old man finally found time to get back on to the FB today and got a fairbit done....
Started off fitting up the Lokar in dash indicatior
then got to work on the headlight speaker buckets...
And the tabs i mocked up on our expensive bender to sit the speaker in further behind the kick panels
and finally with a 5.25 inch cadence speaker in there
did a bit more work on the battery section, it still needs more work but its getting there, also did a bit on the booster mount up.
Hopefully will look at mounting the handbrake tomorrow night after work.
Cheers
