I have a couple of those marine flush pulls that I will be using as tie down, in just in case I to secure any load.
I have seen a chrome double threaded pull, as in male / female for glass sliding doors that may work.

And yes I have power windows to go in. Just sorting out the switches as the plastic junk that is supplied is not going in the ute.
I'm think something in chrome like the HQ Premiers had.
May also consider that lever style switches as are fairly clean and small but not in the same position as the standard winder.

Lots of decisions to be made which are causing me a headache. Lucky I have beer in the fridge.

Cheers,
Roger

Wrongway Roger what about something like this. Original winder to an electric adaptation. I’ve been looking at doing something like this in my EK ute

I'm looking out a couple of options but neither are cheap options.
I will be mounting these in a position on the door card to suit the armrest.
One is the lever style but with a smaller handle than the originals.

Or
these one that come as complete plug in kit.

The upside I can get these from Melbourne.

Roger

Hey Roger I thought about using the lever style but really didn't think there was enough room between the inner of the door and where the one piece glass slides down at least in the original winder position that is.

Hey Neil, you could be right as I have not done must regarding the glass for these doors.
Tomorrow I will check out how much space but you have been there already so you would know.
I like the chrome ones better and I will have more options in placement.

Cheers,
Roger

The chrome ones look the goods , they are pretty shallow too , would not protrude much from the back of the door trim ?

In hind sight I wish I had of used different switches not overly happy with the bulky plastic ones that I used but they came with the kit and by the time I got to this I really juts wanted to get it finished
The chrome ones look good.

These are the ones I bought for Shahni's Camaro when I redid the wiring to the windows in it - I used the switches to drive relays which made them work a lot better

I thought I had posted a pic of this the other day but apparently not

I just ordered the chrome 2 door switch kit from Custom Mustang in Melbourne, $310 plus $20 postage.

I had not considered relays as there is no indication in the wiring diagram for the power window mechs.
