I put POR15 fuel tank reco kit through mine, it had no less than 10 pin holes in the top. It's like new inside, well worth doing. $125 from memory.

it was $400 or $450 with that kit trev mentioned in it i think, the new tank floor has no drain hole anymore either. i did look at those drop tanks from qld but i think they were going to be aorund $900. its good just to get those pesky fumes gone

The POR15 is great stuff. I did the tank on my nearly 50 year old Ducati and it came up a treat. I am going to use it for the old tin brake fluid reservoir too.

i have a few ancient kero heaters i use in my shed ,one i picked up had lots of pin and screw driver size rust holes on the bottom of the tank due being left empty for many moons i guess. i cut out some 5c size bits of tin and applied jb-weld over my tin patches let set for 24 hours filled up and it hasnt leaked a drop for 6 months so far.
Blacky you could try that stuff just over the pin holes for a temporary fix

Have started on the trim install now
The red sure stands out like dogs balls its but i like its boldness.
The carpet arrived the wrong red but being darker actually suits well in person.
ive also done the wheel arches now and inside chrome and handles, the steering wheel is mid repair ,cant forget to put oil in the diff

,all new brakes and lines just need bleeding, quadrant has to go on and find new seatbelts.
the woman's touch

where the flek would normally be on the front and rear seats the vinyl is golf ball texture just to break it up that little bit.still need the side seat plates to be painted
Dont mind the spare old back seat just sitting in there but

did these speaker covers sit on top like like or tucked between the cardboard and steel parcel shelf. i couldnt find any pics of them installed
for the seat belt hook that sits about halfway down the b pillar im missing one if anyone has a spare or i might end up with some small stainless ones from bunnings?

Looks real good man came up sharp... was it from the trimmer you were trying? (i was going to have that seat cover ready for you in about 2 weeks ha)
stereo install came up good, and not sure how they were from factory but i think if you mounted the grille under the parcel tray (and painted it to match) it would look sharp
Looking forward to checking it out one day
Cheers

New seat belts and middle lap belt , new scuff plates from Sam Crupi i think it was, fit perfect.
Front and rear speakers in oem spots
The rod under the drivers seat which unlocks both feet when sliding the chair back or forth i couldnt get to lift the passengers side so bailed the rod and installed so small g stainless wire and a turn buckle which got the tension up tight and now works like dream if anyone else has this issue.
a blurred noggin at drivers request
First drive in many years happy times
NoMad the Trims i got through Big Jobber panels in Wangara
Blacky rather than mixing and matching it was easier to go all new trim
Stewart thanks bud

That's a bold colour combo which seems to work. I also love red and white trim as well as the pale mint paint. The rims help bring it all together.
Your seat adjuster solution is very resourceful.

Im not sure what colour for the steelies yet,
Id like white steelies but not sure its look alright with the white wall , it might be to much. not aloud blackies
was maybe thinking a off white or cream or a grey like gun metal any thoughts
Horn button issue with the steering wheel off i should be able to bridge a wire from the steering shaft to the gold steering contact ring and the horn should sound?
1. i have continuity from the gold column ring to the tan wire at the horn
2. i have continuity from the column spline to the ignition switch, door switch, sill scuff plate screw any bare metal i found
3. i have continuity from the steering wheel splines to the little gold spring contactor in the steering wheel when pushing the horn button as per normal operation to sound a horn. (wheels of the car)
4. i put 12v from the battery straight to the horn and it works
5. i put a wire from the gold ring to the shaft spline and other earth spots and nothing
6. The red wire at the horn has 12v sitting ready as it should i believe
Any more ideas
Regarding the coil with the red motor, the original coil wire i used as a trigger wire on a relay and ran a solid 12v through the switched relay to the coil now but the car wont shut of with the key im sure it used to shut off with this set up but its been a fair while since i last had it running . any ideas
With the internal sun visors do they have a bush or something between the roof bracket and the visor shaft? mine keep dropping down.
Thanks gang
