I just cheated and painted the verticals black 
1. jimmy, back in those days a cut'n'shut was faily common practice so no real biggy
2. blacky, don't think sikkaflex was around back then silastic would've worked though
3. trev i've done that works a treat
looks like they're into 4 wheel driving if it's the same people looks to be a couple of fourbys and a pop top camper, house looks old and very 70's so good possability it's the same family
