put my thoughts in the other thread

wonder if it has a torana diff as they seem to be quite big dish rear wheels and seem to fit nicely under the guards

I'm guessing it's to earth the body?

RB, I had a set of 7x13" Dragways on my car that fit the same and I have a Hr rear, peeled rubber off the side when I went over a speed hump so out the door they went :D , Trev 8) .

I thought the same thing Rat, i asked the guy, but he didnt know as it was his father in laws who has now passed on. Had a quick look underneath yesterday and the diff had been out, the thing is hot pink! It has 7 inches of rubber underneath it comfortably, but aparently can go to 8.

Hey D.A.K.A.M. - Dave

V.N.D.M. - Very Nice Driver Mate

You'll be very proud of that car I'm sure. Good stance, good colours, great buy !!!

Give the diff housing a really good look over it and see if there is evidence of brackets that may have been cut off. the Torana housing have a shitload of brackets welded to them and you lose nearly all of it if you are cleaning them up for a conversion.

Did the # plates stay with the car? Do you Mexicans have to pay for the plates each year? The a...holes (NSW RTA and those scumbags called politicians) that we have up here gouge you every year !

I reckon those wheels look quite at home on that car.

Well done

Dave Mac

It had been resprayed 10-15 years apparently, so am not sure if its original colors or not. When I get I will post the numbers, must admit its a cool color combo, never seen it before.
