Maybe post up some pics and get some tips from those in the know? I think I can make out what Rats describing in some of the pics. But then again if it is going to be a daily in a flat finish what have you got to loose?

get some cruisin skirts off smoothcustoms and make 'em fit, that'll cover most of the problem anyway

Any more updates on this?
I was thinking with that colour your doing it would look mental with white interior. Something tells me though this will be a low buck cruiser so will probably get a mexican blanket?
