She goes pretty good, until recently it had a 350 holley, with a standard flat spot!
We've still got some tuning to do with the carbs but the difference is massive with them, even sounds better. recommend the conversion to anyone who's game.. plus they look cool.
The engine is balanced so can rev pretty hard for an ol red if pushed.
The main thing is i just wanted to keep the appearance of the old car on the outside, with a bit more oompth under the hood, but still stayin 6er.
What are you runnin?
Ken
I have a very stock 186, single stromy, trimatic combo

, nothing special but I will drive it anywhere, it's very reliable

low and slow is my go

I asked him the same question chopped, I think there is a similar one getting around
Kustards's Kustom Krooze maybe? Run by a mr von kustard so it could be anything
Its like a friday night cruise where u meet at hamburger hill and go terrorize the main cafe strips around town with loud cars, flamethrowers etc.
Best bit would have to be the tunnel

Ken, Olskule here, will meet you soon I'm sure. Nice mobile, I like the look you've achieved.
I've got pretty much the same engine set up as yours, and have had it as my daily driver for nearly four years without even a tune up, so once set with any luck you should be right. The only problem I had was over heating, and after much pulling of hair and greying, was advised by a fellow guru member of the club that I'd need a heat shield. Worked a treat, and cheap as well. SU's were designed to run on the non exhaust side of MG's and the like, and we go and stick them right on top of he exhaust manifold!!! It was stuffing up my fuel getting to the carbies without cooking, and causing the engine to run hot.
See how ya go first, but if she does have that problem, start there first, not radiator/hoses/thermostat/blockages/coolant like I did. I'll chuck a photo up if you want..........
Catch ya soon.

Hope this helps, got the shield from Veale Auto Parts, about 50 bucks, bends and folds and can be cut/drilled etc. Nothing like harsh flash photography in the middle of the night to make your engine bay look like poo........ I have a V8 radiator in mine, no engine fan (no room) and fully manual twin thermo's at the front blowing back. Seems to work alright now......

sweet man thanks for that!
I'm runnin a red motor radiator with one large thermo in front aswell.
no room either..
nice work under the bonnet
Any more pics?
