I too was missing choke cable, had the dash know but thats it. I butchered a standard repco/supecheap choke cable and adapted it to suit the dash knob. It was one of those metal spiral sheathed ones (not black plastic), it was a temorary fix until i got a proper FB item...4 yrs later and its still good and still works fine.
